Clinical Computers implements Secure Messaging Standard

Under the auspices of the Australian Digital Health Agency, Clinical Computers has successfully implemented the latest Australian standard for secure messaging. The standard is seamlessly integrated into CCOS and facilitates secure, reliable and fast messaging between providers. The new functionality include:

  • Enhanced searching across multiple secure messaging provider providers by using a federated provider directory service
  • Interoperability and message exchange with different secure messaging enabled software products by utilising standardised messages
  • The ability to securely exchange messages based on current and future Australian encryption standard

The Secure Messaging (SMD) functionality has been tested by the Australian Digital Health Agency and was released in CCOS Version 14.14.
